Katie Vinals, MOT, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist at Clifton Physical Therapy. Katie graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services and eventually went on to continue her studies at Temple University to complete her Master of Occupational Therapy Program.
Katie has always had a passion to work with individuals with varying levels of abilities and find unique and innovative ways to improve their overall quality of life. Katie grew up playing several sports such as softball, cheerleading, and snowboarding so she loves to find ways for her clients to return to their own hobbies and implement client-centered treatments to keep them active as well. One of her main goals when working with patients is to dive deeper into their dreams and goals and turn the “impossible” into something possible. Katie has had several unique experiences that have driven her career in OT such as presenting research completed on Inclusive and Accessible Playgrounds for children with disabilities at the National AOTA conference.
When she isn’t working, Katie loves to stay active by taking cycling classes, going to the beach, or going snowboarding with family and friends. A quote that drives her work is “Medicine adds days to life, and therapy adds life back into your everyday.
